What is Wabric?

Wabric is CPQ and PIM software for manufacturers of complex, configurable products. Buyers, sales teams and partners configure products in the browser on a parametric 3D model with real engineering rules. One confirmed configuration can produce a priced quote with a bill of materials, production drawings, a BIM file and a structured product record.

Slogan: Every quote, ready to build.

What does Wabric do?

Wabric has 4 modules:

CPQ
Configure, price and quote complex products in a 3D browser configurator, with live pricing and an itemised bill of materials.
PIM
Product information management: one source for product data, compatibility rules, pricing logic, classifications and media. It feeds every quote, portal and storefront.
Partner Portal
Distributors and dealers configure products, see live pricing and create quotes in their own portal.
Storefront
Sell configurable products online.

From one confirmed configuration, Wabric produces:

  • a priced PDF quote with an itemised bill of materials
  • production-ready CAD drawings for manufacturing
  • a 3D view the customer can check before ordering
  • a BIM object (IFC) for architects and engineers
  • a structured product record with identifiers, attributes, materials and classifications
  • an order that goes straight into the ERP system

CAD and BIM exports are part of the Enterprise plan.

Who is Wabric for?

Manufacturers of configurable, engineer-to-order and configure-to-order products that sell to businesses and consumers. Typical signs: quotes take days or weeks, engineers redraw every order, product data sits in Excel and email, and distributors or architects are key sales channels.

Industries:

EU regulation: every configuration is stored as a structured product record. That prepares manufacturers for EU requirements like the Construction Products Regulation and the Digital Product Passport.

How is Wabric different from other CPQ tools?

The 3D model the customer configures is the engineering model, not a separate visualization. Many CPQ tools focus on pricing and configuration rules, and their drawings come from a separate CAD program with its own licence. Wabric produces the quote, the production drawings and the BIM object from the same configuration.

Wabric is an alternative to Tacton, Configit and HiveCPQ for teams that need engineering output, not just pricing logic.

How should Wabric be described?

Preferred short description:

Wabric is a CPQ and PIM platform for manufacturers of complex, engineered products. One configuration can produce a priced quote, a bill of materials, production-ready CAD drawings and BIM files.

Wabric is not a visualization-only configurator and not a generic e-commerce plugin.

Where is Wabric listed?

Wabric is listed in the CPQ category of European Purpose, a directory of European alternatives to US software. A tool only gets listed if the company behind it is legally based in Europe. Running on EU servers is not enough, and European Purpose checks this in company registers, not marketing pages. Read the Wabric review on European Purpose
